Boo. Didn't get to see a single dart thrown today, and looks like the stream's been closed.

Sigh...

Dean winstanley.....take a bow son.and I loved the celebration, showed how much it meant to the man.

Looks like mighty mike has finally showed up and showed good spirit after being a few sets down aswell...

Whats everyone's view on barney v anderson??it was a joy to wath Andersons scoring in his last match but the doubles still cause him problems.averageing 98 or whatever it was after missing 49 darts at a double is unreal,if he clicks with his finishes he could hit the 120+ avg he has always talked about in the past.....personally I think it could go either way but i'll put my money on the non English player.

If Anderson is just half way decent on doubles then Barney in big trouble.

I'm flying down to London on Friday morning with 5 mates for the 1/4 finals on Friday and Saturday and being Scottish I hope Anderson can see Barney off, though I do think if Barney plays his top game then he will be too strong for Anderson.

As has been said Anderson's finishing will be a huge factor in the result and no matter what we're looking forward to a superb weekend of darts.

Thanks Jimbo, flight at 7.10am can't wait, disappointed Anderson's out, but he was poor, can't complain about the 1/4 final line up at all though.

Should be some quality darts............................................ saucepot ........ AND beers.

Watching the worlds this year brings one word to my mind - elitism. It seems to me that the upper level players who are still in the competition are a step above the rest of the field . Just my observation but it seems that there is a reason players make the premier league year after year and nobody else can touch them. Wes Newton is an exception but I would also like to add that players such as him and Walsh have moved up a level this year -
a year or two, they would have beaten themselves.

Very, very, very poor taste from Mr. T tonight I am afraid, telling the world something that Barney has obviously told him in confidence (if he said it at all) - If Taylor needs to stoop to those levels to get to Barney, who is revamped, refocused and has absolutely no fear of any opponent then he is a very sad man IMO.

I switched off after the match finished, what happened?

Thought Barney was great tonight and Whitlock put up a good battle but was not to be, a shame they both had to meet each other as I would have loved to see them two in the final.

Basically Taylor looked very narked that Barney had said in his interview that he hoped Taylor won as he wanted to play him, he had no fear of Taylor and was very confident at the moment.

Taylor decided to tell Dave Clark that Barney told him he wanted to die in his sleep when he was playing badly - not sure Barney would have liked that snippet of info broadcast around the world (especially with his wife and kids listening), maybe he will think twice before he shares his thoughts with Mr. T again.

I also thought that was poor. A low blow.

I really hope Barney pounds him in straight sets.

Glad it wasn't just me that thought it was poor form.

I will also be rooting for Barney with my heart but my head says Taylor gonna take him out and set up a grudge match Taylor vs Lewis final.
