| First Round Schedule of Play Friday December 14 (7pm-12am) 1x Preliminary Round, 4x First Round Robert Thornton v Magnus Caris Andree Welge v Leung Chun Nam (P) Paul Nicholson v Co Stompe Adrian Lewis v Gino Vos Kevin Painter v Welge/Chun Nam
Lewis should win and Thornton, I dont know what the others are like but I would expect Painter to win too.
nico and stompe could be either way. |

| I take back what I said about Welge. The other guy was really good. Soft tipper at that. Go light dart power

| I fancied Welge and Stompe tonight but both were not so good so a bit disappointed but darts is a funny old game |

| LOL yep welge was rubbish, the Leung guy has a very consistent action, just very straight arm was quite impressed with him, but went to bed before his match with Painter so dont know how he played in that.
Lewis and Vos match was quite scrappy, Lewis needs to play better than that if he wants to get any further.
Stompe was poor, he seems to have lost something, not sure what is wrong with his form.
Thornton played well though. |

Great match - would have liked to see hubbard get through but at the same time its good to see the crowd didn't dictate another result
