| Hi Rob
Have target got any plans of making a longer series of Diamond Points? I have started to uses these points recently, but would like them to be a bit longer than 32mm which they are only available in. As the front of my dart barrel nearly touched the bristle. This is on a blade 4 board that is slightly worn, but the bristle is still quite tight. This is with 25-26mm of the point stuck outside of the barrel.

| Hi all
First of all, hope you had a great Christmas and we at Target would like to pass on our best wishes for the New Year!
SA - at present, there are no plans to make a longer version of Diamond Pro Points - however I will pass on this request.
The best way to get points across for a new product suggestion for us would be to post on our Facebook wall (I know you did it a while ago Kev - that way if it gets enough support and momentum and we can see the demand is there, we can start implementing changes).
Kind regards
Rob

| Hi Rob I have had my Carrera's now for a couple of months and I am finding that the grip is not as good as the day I got them, now I know that any grip will wear over time but I feel that these have worn extra quickly. I do practice for 2 hours a day and play competitively 3 times a week but to combat this I have 2 sets in 22g that I rotate regularly and a 3rd set in 24 as spares. To be honest I am quite disappointed with these darts as they were supposed to be the next big thing in grip technology and they are pretty poor for a couple of months use. |

Hi Kev - as with any new dart, the new edges on the grooves wear with use and close grouping from good dart players - it is inevitable that they lose that 'first' feel. However, this is the difference between Pixel Grip and any other dart; it has an additional titanium coating for even extra protection, meaning that you might lose that 'first' feel but the Pixel-Grip will remain intact. |

| Well I beg to differ rob as the pixel grip was the thong that drew me to these darts but without the sharp edges they are just a hole and that is not very grippy at all and as the rings on them are not very deep and quite close together I now feel I have very little grip. How do I stand with a refund as I am not at all happy with them. I still have the boxes and the flights and stems are unused. |

| Will do Rob as I think it is best you see and feel them as the pictures don't tell the full story. I will put them in the post tomorrow (Thurs) so you should get them by the weekend. |

| ok I now have my Carrera's back as Target say that there is nothing wrong with them other than the newness wearing off. I disagree with this statement completely as the darts now have very little grip. i have wrote and emailed Target direct over a week ago and have received no correspondence in return. I would like the darts replaced or a refund as I stick by by beliefs and say that this grip has gone from these darts. I believe at the price I paid and the length of time I have had them I should be given a full refund as I am unable to use them. I have to say I expected more from Target as they quote a lifetime guarantee on their barrels and these are 3 month old. I will leave this in your more than capable hands Rob but I am not at all happy with this situation. |

| I'd fail to think that big gun would be lying about this sort of stuff. If this is meant to be the revolution of darts then they should last longer than 3 months. I agree that target is a great company and has good customer service but this seems dodgy.
I saw the Facebook competition about jimmy. Are target producing any more of the silica Hendricks as they are VERY nice? ;) Does Lewis have new darts? They looked different last night to his usual.
Thanks |

| Hey Kev if I pm you my address do you think you could send me one of the barrels to check. I would interested to compare it to the feel of them when new. I have some new C5's here but have tried the C4's and C3's too. |

| Hi Kev,
We're sorry that you're unhappy with your product. Our belief has always been to give excellent customer service and we'll continue to aim to do this.
The Carrera C4 barrels you sent us were checked by three key staff at Target, all of whom agreed there was no fault with the barrels.
Your letter of correspondence has been received by International Sales manager Matt Gilewicz, who has asked me to apologise to you; he has been away on business in America for 2 weeks and Germany for five days and will now respond to your letter.
If you remain unhappy with the product, please return to the retailer that you purchased them off.
Hi Adam -
If the demand is there, we will look to produce more of the Jimmy Silica's - they have proved very popular on Facebook.
As for Adrian's darts, we make extremely minor modifications to his personal sets depending on what time of year it is - varying temperatures and venues can often affect grip level.
Hope this helps,
TargetRob

| I was also a big loser in the Hendrick's comp I personally think the Silica coating is the best on the market, both for looks and durability. |

would you like to be a pioneer of the dart world by releasing the dimensions to your flights?

| I fail to see what Pure Darts can do if Targets darts are faulty but to appease you rob i have spoken to The MD there and he tells me that there is nothing he can do as its a fault with the barrel and as you give a lifetime guarantee with your darts it should be down to you to sort it out. I am so angry with Target over this and feel that I have been unfairly treated.
I have put the darts on Ebay now as this is the only way I can recoup some of my loss on these darts. Looks like i will be going down the Custom route now as I will not buy any more from Target given my recent experiences. This is a real shame for me as I held them in such high regard too. On the Plus side your flights are awesome so I will still be using those so things are not all bad.
Thanks for trying Rob but this one was not a good result for the consumer, so a thumbs down from me on the Carrera's. |
