| Do you do printed copies of your yearly catalogues? If so is there any chance of a copy of the one for this year lol
Also, I know I generally use the Cosmo Fit Flight system, but I love your new range of Target Vision flights - seems to be all I've used for the last couple of weeks or so lol - do you have any plans to bring these out in other shapes such as kite or pear? |

| Hi mc1958
Many thanks for the question.
We do print our yearly catalogues - unfortunately at the moment we only have enough copies available for our retailers, but what I will do is look to bring all of our latest brochures/flyers to the forum meeting day next year.
Thanks for the kind comments on our Target VISION flight, we're very proud of them. We constantly have product meetings so this is something I will put for discussion - we are looking at doing more designs so I think looking at more shapes should be considered. Hope this helps.

| Hi Rob,
Appreciate your answers to the questions. +1 from me as well.
I have some Target darts in my collection and I must say that they're very well-made. The Precisions, Perfect Storms, Sport 90 and Silicas are top notch. Target is currently exclusively distributed by Topcom in the Philippines. Unfortunately, the new models have yet to arrive here and I'm hoping get some Target darts locally. Any idea if Topcom will be releasing the 2013 darts here?
Also, since Manny Pacquiao (boxer) is part of the Target family who has been active in the sponsorhip and promotion of local dart tournaments here, does Target plan to make its mark to sponsor some local tournaments as well?
Sorry if this question was already asked and I missed it, does Target plan to move its factory in China?
I checked the Target site and there seems to have some Filipino dart players, as well as players of different nationalities, who are part of Team Target. Thanks for supporting a diverse group of players to make a darts a bigger sport in the global scene.
Thanks and more power to Target. |

| Hi Rob
Just watching Colin Lloyd against James Wade at the Euro Champs and I see that Jaws is using kite shaped signature L flights - when will these be available to purchase? I prefer flights with designs on to plain lol.
Also on L flights, are the Chizzy ones available to purchase anywhere? I haven't actually looked for these yet but know A180 were giving a set away with each set of the new gold Chizzy darts purchased.
Many thanks Mike |

| Morning all, Hope you've had a good weekend. Many congratulations to Simon Whitlock on winning his first major (although he knocked out three of #teamtarget on the way haha :P ) Hi Cutter - first of all, if Topcom decide to re-order with us then I would expect the 2013 range out in the Philippines soon. We always look to offer support to tournaments and are sponsoring our first BDO recognised tournament this year - the Target Jersey Festival of Darts. As our brand grows, we'll look to sponsor more. Hi Mike - thanks for the questions. We currently have plain white L-Style kit design in our 2013 brochure. As for the Chizzy L-Flights, it would depend on the retailer - might be best to search online. As for the CoolPlay shirts - will find out for you this week when our designer returns from holiday TargetRob |

| Hi Rob,
I bought some Kev mcdine proplay darts from a180 darts yesterday and are waiting for them to arrive. Are they still going to be covered by targets lifetime guarentee? I only ask as i know theyre not manufactured anymore and aren't listed on Targets website? Whilst on the subject of the guarentee, if a point was to break on a set of pures would target replace the dart? I know the guarentee only covers barrels and was unsure as where the pure's fell regarding this.
Thanks |

| Hi Fox,
Apologies for the late reply. I am pleased to say that your McDine darts will be under guarantee.
As for the PUREs, this is correct - you would have to send them in and we would look to replace.
Many thanks

| Hi Rob. I have the Silica Endeavour ST, 24g +22g darts. My Q is one of the 24g darts seems to have lost it grip. Or I have lost its grip. Is there any thing I can use to clean it. Or is it heard of to loose the synergy? |

| Following on from Aussie Kev's question above, how would you guys as the manufacturers suggest we clean our darts?
Would you suggest different ways for say plain tungsten, black coated, silica, zirconium, stone grip.
Also, how would you suggest we clean the new Carrera darts with all those little holes all over them (not that I have a set yet)? |

| Hi Rob,
With regards to the questions regarding wallets i have to admit this is something which has made me not purchase Target darts from one of the retailers. I fully understand about the plastic tri fold wallet no point most players wont want one however if im being asked to spend £40 - £50 on a set of darts then i expect something.
You could look at either look at a discount on your high spec wallets but again im not sure that would make me buy however if you include a quality wallet and include as standard with top end darts the manufacturing costs of the wallets would be smaller and could potentially only increase your costs by say £2 or so.
Id certinly be more likely to purchase Target darts if they included a decent quality wallet or case which is specific to that model of dart if that makes sense. |

| Hi Rob Good to see you on here. I would like to ask you What is the closest dart to Purists phase 2 that Target make. I have looked at the Scott Rand darts as they look similar but heard a lot of rumours from others that have bought them that they don't feel right when they throw them, no one can put their finger on why and all agree they are a nice dart but something is off with them. Can you shed any light on this as I dont want to buy them and then not like them as they are quite expensive. My last darts team was playing for Scott's uncle in Northampton. I also have been hanging my nose over Aide Lewis's darts but I like a tapered nose and they are quite flat. Open to suggestions. I liked the Chizzy's but they were to heavy at 24g so gave them away to a new starter to the game so he was chuffed. I play with 23g. cheers mate & hope you are well. |

| Cheers buddy I think I will just have to try a few sets. We don't have any shops locally now to have a throw with darts before you buy them so its an expensive trail & error process as you only get a fraction back for them on Ebay. I don't want to start getting in to the modifying darts again as that cost me an arm & a leg having my original set & the spare set then the other 2 sets in different colours done. That's why I want a set off the shelf this time, if not I will design myself a set & have them custom made. Thanks for your advice & keep dong what you do as your good at it. Stay Special buddy.

| BIG GUN The Scott Rand dart looks like itt tapers from the 6th ridge from the back to the stem. This is not a straight barrel dart.
And the purist has that flat segment at the rear that would give it extra weight at the back. Maybe this is why it does not behave like the purist.
ROB Is the scott Rand dart center balanced of slightly weight forward? |

| Anyone ever have problems with Targets Items??? Had some storm points snap in half the other day.....sent an email to darts corner to see what they could do for me and they said nothing!! Told me to contact Target directly to see if they would do something as a good will gesture...and had no response from them as of yet! Hate to be out of $9 points! Thought all storm points were to fit all Target Darts ? |

| Yes McInnis I had some snap too so just sent them an email with a photo and they will replace them for you. they are a top company and their customer service department is second to none.
As for the Rands no one has been able to put their finger on why they feel wrong they are just reviews I have read and comments on Twitter FB etc. They are nor so different to the Perfect Storm darts but reluctant to try now people are saying they feel off. We need a store here so I could try before I buy as you never get your money back & it can be an expensive time trying out 10 different sets and losing £5-£10.00 on each set selling them on.
Don't get me wrong I love my Purists but have had such a tough time with Unicorn of late that I am struggling to accept the poor standard of craftsmanship and to be honest the substandard goods they have sent me recently. So this is why I am choosing to go to a new company for all my darts equipment from now on. Shame really as I was a Unicorn boy from day 1 and I am now in to my 33rd year of playing. Anyway enough waffling from me. |

Anyway enough waffling from me. I had some of the Rand darts and I would say that whilst the grip is very aggresive and probably on par with the purist (which are my all time favourite darts), I just couldn't get on with them. Like you and others have said, I can't put my finger on what the problem was, but I just couldn't get them to fly right for me. No doubt though, they are a beautiful dart, and the quality is second to none, they just weren't for me. A guy on another forum who knows Scott Rand said that the development of this dart involved a lot of work to get them exactly how he wanted them. It would therefore seem that they have been designed to his exact specification. So if your throw isn't too similar to his, then they might not suit. I think from watching him, that he has a very 'Taylor-esque' throw, very direct, mine is not and this may be why they didn't work for me! |

| just a thought i had while reading another thread on here about shafts . i noticed some people like extra weight at the back to help the dart sit straighter in the board and a lot of people like nylon shafts and and rings as they are inexpensive and don't bend. anyway perhaps this has been done ,but i've not heard of it. have you considered making stem rings in different weights so people can use laro shafts or whatever and add slightly more weight to the rear of the dart? |
