PostSubject: Re: Ask Target   Ask Target - Page 5 EmptyWed Nov 28, 2012 11:25 pm

Rob, I noticed that the storm points dont fit flush with all darts. Whould you consider making then is say 0.2mm increments at the flair.

Just a thought Me Thinking

while Im at it

are your RINO flights the same dimentions as your target vishions. I do belive that your older style flights are larger than the vishions, if so what are the dimetions for both in the standard shape. I like a smaller standard around the DIMPLEX size.

Thanx in advance http://i111.photobuc

Hey Rob -have you guys thought any about making slimmer and longer length darts? Like 5.6mm diameter. I have seen the 21 gram silica gemini darts that are 6mm x 53mm and have them on my wish list. Got some Carreras on the way - a little fat but I had to try them! I think the would look good in silica

Thanks for the reply to my post Rob, appreciated. Understand your point RE cost.

I did wonder if it would be a huge cost to produce one set of barrels, as other 'non branded' company's seem to make custom darts at a reasonable price.
I totally appreciate a large business is different though and you will go with the mass produced marked as that is where the money is!

A separate point, I'm loving the new range of soon to be released Vision Flights! Stocking up on those asap!!

No problem Matt, we always appreciate everyone's comments and questions and take everything on board - after all, we're looking for ways to improve as we grow.

As for the new Vision flights, thanks for the comments! We're really proud of them and how they look - especially on our Pro-Grips.

Any designs that people wish to see in the future? Can leave your recommendations here and I'll pass them on Smile

Morning DirtyG

Regarding the STORM points - will pass on for product development meeting Smile are you talking about a dart which you've fitted them on? Just for future reference Smile

The majority of our VISION flights are No6 size - our older flights are mostly Standard size.

Our product designer is off today so will get the dimensions to you in due course - if I haven't replied by next week please just give me a nudge Smile (as you can probably imagine, the office gets pretty hectic this time of year!)

Good morning Spat! Hope you're well. Good question - for a slimmer dart, the silica coating would certainly compensate for grip so it is something to consider. Again, I will pass this to our designer once he's back.

As for the Carrera's - hope you enjoy. Let us know how you get on with them Smile

Morning Jamie/danny - many thanks for the recommendations. A skull/vision combo might work, so I will pass this forward. As for the pin ups, I'll see what I can do haha.

Rob most of the darts that I have seen fitted with storm points have been on this site and not all of them seem to fit flush but they are usaly not target branded darts but hey if some one own's a set of non target dart and want a set of S points on them atleast target still get there finger in the pie. I do not currentley have storm point on any of my darts but there is 2 set's coming in the mail. yea har.

In regards to pin up girl flights I think PDC & BDO walk on girls will sell well but would throw my game off. You could call them walk on flights

Do you do a checkout flight? cuz Im a novice Embarassed

I too am a fan of long barrels along with many others, a 55+mm barrel = SLIM width which is the main thing I look for when window shoping. You could call them TARGET 55+'s lol!

The problem with printing Walk-On girls on flights would be licensing - much the same if we were to print branded football flights etc. However, it is an avenue we will continue to look down.

Have passed the skull flight on to our graphic designer Smile

Dirty - do you mean a checkout sheet? With outshots on them? We don't actually make one, but there are plenty if you search the internet

Hey Rob. I know you have threads on other forums also. It's a great idea for a company rep to interact with darting members. But we really do appreciate you being here on our forum and we thank you for your efforts.

good job

Morning all

Adam - feel free to email me at robb@target-sport.co.uk with details of the problem. Send a couple of pictures and just a few details of how often you use them, how long you've had them etc and I will contact our designer.

Saber - have made a note of this and passed it on, many thanks!

Hope you're all enjoying the World Champs!

Hello Mr Target,

Apologies if this has been asked on here before but is there any thoughts towards Target bringing an electronic soft-tip board to the UK marketplace (something like the dartslive 100s, for example) as there's a buzz being generated by the soft-tip game and I'm sure many, myself included would enjoy the chance to give the game a try in this country but haven't really got the opportunity.

Thanks for answering our questions

Merry Christmas

Morning SP -

Many thanks for the question - it is an interesting concept, one we've been looking at for a while. Whilst there are no definitive plans at the moment, it is something that we continue to look at - if it comes under our brand we want to make sure it would be the best.

Hope this helps,

TargetRob

More than 2 years, tonight it almost ended up in my right eye, I would realy like to know if I should use them for fishing or can I get back the grip.

Hi Aussie Kev

Many apologies for the delay - I wasn't avoiding your question and I try to answer all queries, although as you can appreciate the office is often hectic (especially in the build up to Xmas) so there is a chance that I may miss people's responses - as I say, it isn't anything deliberate, so if anyone doesn't hear back then please just give me a nudge Smile

As for the Silica's - it is natural for the coating and grip to wear over time. Having spoken to the designer, unfortunately, there isn't anything that you could use to clean the barrel and get the grip back.

Rob.

Hi Rob, is the CARRERA C4 only available in 24g I would love them if they were 26g. I have notice that you only go as far as 25g with the CARRERA C3 but not my style of barrel.
