got my tripod back so been videoing practise sessions then i thought it would be got to see myself throw to see if i can spot any faults from an other perspective. would be good to see how others throw and a short clip takes no time at all to upload. oh and finally you get to see the shirt i won from perfectdarts.com

nice throwing mate. You always extend your arm out before your throw? Like the shirt too. Notice your stats, all good. Are you counting both single and double bull right?

yeah it seems to work best for me . i used to have my arm at 90 degrees bring back and release from the 90 again ,but the longer action works better

counting bull as 2 single as 1 . need to give it another go. got 11 marks in 1 minute but only 26 in 100 darts ! i get hot and cold on the bull

Nice thread Jamie, was talking about doing a clip of my action just the other day. I will try and do one later today when I get home from a team tourney I'm playing in.

Jamie your throw seems very good, very straight arm and it looks like you have a good drawback and follow through.
Jimbo you have a high elbow and again it is held nice and vertical but as you throw forward it looks like you move a little to the right but your hand still seems to follow throw nice and straight.

I'm curious about the "suggested videos" that are showing up. Are you lot seeing Indian talk shows and Asian basketball and conspiracy theories? Or am I just... on youtube's list?

You have been dying to use your new camera for a vid Larry lol!
Your throw looks nice and straight too, now I checked mine in a mirror and my arm is certainly not vertical, I dont know if that has anything to do with the broken shoulder I had but I did have a vid somewhere before I broke it so will have to find that then do a comparison.
I know I have never thrown as good since I broke it though, and hit way more 5's than I used to.
