Some crackers there for sure, the one of Shaun Greatbatch, is it my eyes or do the treble and double segments look narrower than the Unicorn boards? Maybe its the thickness of the wires but there didnt seem to be a lot of room left in them trebles.
Which way do you prefer? Personally I'd go T15 myself.
Any reason you'd go for the 15s?
I find it strange tbh, lets say you're halfway through a leg and you block the t20 with your first dart, where do you go for a cover dart, 15s or 19s? I know i'll switch to 19s every time so that's the way i'd always go for a 141 out, it's a more natural switch in my minds eye

I love watching these, always enjoy seeing John Lowes 9 darter, at the time I was 14 and was not all that knowledgeable about darts an never knew what a 9 darter was. My mate told me John Lowe had hit a 9 darter, I thought what's he on about, when he said he got £100,000 for doing it I then wanted to know more!

I understand the logic of going the 19's route and I would suggest that route if asked for an opinion but for me I really like T15 ( and T10 not that it applies here ) and would feel confident of hitting it just as often as T19. I also would choose D18 over D12 a thousand times over .....but that is only if I was on the 9 darter. Many's a time I have went T19 D12 when on 81. I`ll go either way on 81 Am I just
Hi Winmau nice thread Wheres your 9 darter i would love to see some videos of your good legs ive only managed 5 perfect darts a few times
I'm trying to catch one on video.
Somewhere out there I have a video of me hitting 7 on the trot, missing the trip 15 by a hair.
Finished in 10 though.
I sent the video (vcr tape) to my friend back in 2005, but sadly he died just a few months later. No idea where the tape might of gone.
I see you say you missed the T15. More and more people opt for T19 on the 7th dart now. Which way do you prefer? Personally I'd go T15 myself.
15 is probably the easiest number for me to hit on the board. I've had many come from behind cricket matches by pounding the 15. I've had 9 marks on that number more then any other number in league. So I'd go the 15 route.
Funny... adding to what Bigshow said.. I go 57-24 with 81 left too.
But the 2 times I've been on the 9 darter after my 7th dart, I've gone 15. 50% so far...
