I've been using 22 g for awhile now and thinking my next set will be 20g. Used 26g years ago so I have been coming down over the years

Light weights mainly for me.

Yes, I meant barrels only as that is the most common way known to weigh a dart.

I was going to go into a discussion about weighing the entire dart because that's what we throw... the entire dart.

But didn't want to confuse DirtyG.

24-26g. currently 26g.

I use 2.3 kilo in total weight, thats includind the dartboard when all 3 darts are stuck in it

23g is my choice but had to drop to a 22g and go up to a 24g in Carreras to see which suited me the best as I like a straight barrel.

23g is the best for me at the moment.

22-23 for me

24 for me

A question for the weird under 18g throwers..... Do you ever worry that the marker or caller will accidentally sneeze or cough whilst your dart flies past them. I'm assuming if the did the dart would be blown out the window and it would be a hassle looking for it.

A few months ago I won the singles title at a tournament held outdoors in heavy wind with a 20 gram (total weight) dart.

When Barney was rocking he used 25gm but he did very well with those 23gm ones. James Wade 22gm I think along with Jamie Lewis. Taylor around the 25-26gm level and hes done pretty good . We got a thread here somewhere about the weights pros use.

With the exception of MvG(who has recently caught fire) There seems to be a pattern in averages/performance and dart weight at the pro level. Dunno about those light darts!
