| I check all my equipment before I leave home. That way my mind is clear. I leave myself ample time to get to the venue, once again leaving my mind clear.
Then its some warming up and banter with mates. |

| New flights.....make sure I got my spare darts too, stems in good condition and a few throws prior to leaving the house. I get there an hour early normally for a proper warm up as you only get a few darts if the venue is mobbed. |

| To matches I always take:
2 sets of darts (I have seen someone snap a point before, so second set is just in case)
At least 1 spare set of stems
At least 1 spare set of flights
Sharpening stone
Broken stem remover
Pocket fob to keep my darts in when not playing (saves holes in the shirt pocket lol
I always try and get there about an hour early for a couple of swift pints and a decent warm up as well before the mob get there |

| Very handy piece of kit the stem remover if you use nylon stems. You can generally get the stem out using another dart as well, but I find the actual tool a lot easier. |

| I have only ever snapped 1 stem, but that is the 1 I never expected to snap, so that makes the tool a good idea. |
