Ive snapped my dart point on one of my gold kongs dont know how it happened i just took my dart out of the board went too throw again and noticed the point had snapped dont know what too do now, can anyone suggest how too get the point out, is the dart knackered?
please can someone reply as ilove these darts

hmmm there may be enough to get that out buddy. I will wait for others to help ya but I'm willing to try as I have a repointer and if I can get just a little hold on it out she will come. So lets wait to hear what others say first okay.

There is another way. You can try heating the barrel up and the point should fall out.

Use this as a last resort though because I dont know what will happen to the gold colouring on your dart.

You could also try a claw hammer. Hold the barrel in a vice, using a bit of timber on each side of the dart so the vice doesnt leave marks on your dart. Then use the claw hammer as if you are pulling a nail out of a bit of wood.

Be careful using the hammer method that you dont use too much sideways force as you dont want to make the hole oval shaped.

Plenty there to get hold of, just send it to be re pointed (plenty of places online that do it)

I think so to from the pic but I would send all three for new points , just what I would do .

Send your darts off to , A180 darts .co. uk and Karl would be more than happy to replace the points for ye, back to you in less than a week .......

A week! Wow, I can go down the road 10 mins from home and get them done at a dart shop. No waiting.

A nice Sunday morning drive......

I had a dart with gripper points snap in the exact same place. In the end, I pulled it out myself using a pair of plyers. It was pretty hard word mind!!

That's who I sent mine to and mine was broken worse than the OP's point and he managed to get it sorted.

I would keep it as is and throw it at my opponent to put them off there game
