| Got these from Thomas over at Dart Brokers a couple weeks ago. Really like them. I switch back and forth from steel to plastic daily. I play steel at home, and soft tip when I go out. All that's available in upstate NY. Chipped a point today on the wires. When I went to change the point I was surprised to see how much the points have worn down. Love the points, but if they wear down this quick I might have to think of something else. At $14 for 6 points it could get expensive quick. On the plus side I do love how they work. They are the same weight and length (when new) as a regular soft tip point. They are also very gentle on my new board. Unlike steel tips, they don't chew up the metal wires on the board. My bullseye wires still look brand new. Not a mark on them after a month of steady pounding. All in all, I like the points, but not liking the quick wear. Here are the points compared to soft tip points. Identical.[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Here is 2 weeks worth of wear. | Great pictures, was thinking of giving those a try in my Bottelsens but may give them a miss seeing how quickly they wear down - nice idea though |

| not really sure how much more hard wearing they could make them without been metal, I wonder if Targets new darts will be made from a similar material?
They do seem to be good at prolonging the boards wear though but will work out as a costly way to achieve that. |

| Also... to add.
While these points are very gentle on my board, hardly looks like the bristles have been touched, I do notice that the 1 and 5 area around the treble 20 is getting darker. The points as they wear seem to leave a residue behind. A black color. |

| I notice that sometimes with the black steel points too, the coating wears off onto the board. |

| My final review of these. They blow!!!! They wear down way to quick!! The points start out at 25mm. Perfect for a day. Really like them. But then they start getting smaller. They lose as much as 5 mm after a few weeks of play. Messes up my grip and the feel of the dart. Also as they wear, they leave a pencil colored residue on the board. Now my new board look like I poked it with a pencil lead over and over. Totally darkened up the treble 5, 20, 1 area quickly. Will not continue to use these. | Was thinking of getting some soft tip darts and giving these a try - think I'll continue to wait for the steel tip versions now. Many thanks for the update. |

| Things things are dreadfully awful!!!! Now that they are just nubs, I'm getting constant bounce outs!!!! Grrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just ruined my practice tonight!!! Kinda stuck now. I don't have any other tips to put in my darts. Guess I'll throw in some plastic tips. |

| Moved this here as it's more of a review.
Also a bump for new members that might consider buying these.
