I have thought for a while that darts from Targets 'distinction' range would be awesome in Steeltip, but they have only ever been available in soft tip. Well that was until I looked on Facebook just now. they have two new steeltip models - Orion and Capricorn:

God I wish I was on some kind of commission for being the first to put pictures on here from new Target ranges. I think I was the first with some of the other recent releases. However after my purchase of C5s I can't be buying any more new darts for a while (wife's orders). God I would love a set of these in 24g though!!!

These darts with Gold Storm points would look awesome. I think these are the nicest looking steeltip darts I have ever seen, uber cool!

There are damn fine looking arrers though. It is going to take a lot to stop me getting a set of these, especially with payday tomorrow and my Birthday next week! I know I should stick with my purists, but these look like a nice straight barrel with good grip and if they are similar in length it might have to happen.

they look good but why on every target darts is there a smooth section that splits the grip. put the logo at the back target ffs

I spotted the soft tip version a couple of weeks ago and thought WOW. They are a real smart looking dart.

Looks wise they do look good. As a guy shopping for new darts these are worth a try on looks alone.

Then again I'm a guy that says I dont care how they look as long as they work.

I'll be getting a set of the top ones when they come out

Dart Porn indeed!!!!!!!

They turned up about an hour ago - haven't been able to throw them yet as my back is killing me but first impressions are quite good. The black bit at the back is more grippy than the gold bit - ok for me as I grip at the back of the dart. If I had to give grip levels then I would go for 3 for the gold and 4 for the black - but I've not really taken any proper notice of grip levels lol. Nice and evenly balanced. Can't see them replacing the Carreras but I may use them as a backup set if I'm playing on Thursday.

Have only managed to take 1 pic with my crappy camera - I really need to get a new one lol

Think I would like the back grip at the front but would know better when I get me hands on them, nice darts though!

Looks like DC have an exclusive on these for the moment as they had with the Carreras. If you want these though then Madhouse reckon they will have them in stock in a couple of days and their site is showing them £10 cheaper - so they would be a better place to start

£10 cheaper sounds good
