| Can someone tell me why people punch holes in their darts flights? I keep seeing punches for sale. Does it make the dart fly better? |

I keep seeing punches for sale. Does it make the dart fly better? the ends of the wings have the most pronounced effect on stabilizing. they pretty much act like levers. the holes readjust your center of gravity more towards the front. say if you're used to a slim fight and moving up to a standard while wanting to have the dart feel the same in your hand. but fly different. |

| about a month ago i switched to nylon shafts, i kept breaking and bending my aluminium ones , i picked up a punch and caps and rings, the caps must be checked after every throw as i lost one at a match. The rings tend to be more durable and long lasting |
