Played in a local Blind Draw that ended up being singles tonight. Got whooped on, first round won a leg, lost two. Dropped to loser bracket, lost a leg, won one, lost one. Early night for me. Funny thing is I did not play terribly, just not as consistently as I needed to. Still had fun and did not get frustrated. Just one of those nights...

Yep need more practice. I did hit a 180 two 140's and a white horse while warming up. Just ran into players scoring better in the matches than I was. Still enjoyed it though.

It's hitting 3 triples to close in cricket. For example, T20, T19, T18. The way I always understood it is a true white horse was hit without scoring as well so all darts just close numbers.

I know this sounds like a double negative. But with the right attitude I believe that the losses are an invaluable part of the learning process.
Sometimes I believe one loss, when accepted in the philosophical manner you have shown, can be a learning curve equal to many wins.
If you was happy with your overall play, and can draw positives from your loss, then it is all good experience to draw upon.
It is when you dwell on your losses and allow them to become doubts in your mind. Then you have a problem.
