| Got a league knockout pairs game tonight , My playing partner is our team captain who is a super league player also so i was pretty pleased he picked me as a partner. This is the second round , In the first round we made short work of our opposition but as with all knock-outs the further you go the harder it gets and i do tend to take this kind of thing more serious than the weekly league games , its just more personal as how i play tonight WILL certainly effect the result ! Me and el capitan do usually play well together , i think we feed off each other if you know what i mean so it should be a good game and if we get beaten well they will have earned it lol Several county players in the mix too so could be a interesting draw  |

Cheers guys , Focus isnt a problem so much any more , I never watch other players throw or even note there score unless it can effect the way i approach an out shot , I wont even chat to my playing partner unless i have to as i know his game well enough so i can leave him on an out shot that suits him and hes the same with me so thats the way i now deal with pressure , i just look down at the floor till its my turn , I am becoming an authority on pub carpets tho  |

| Well we werent too successful ! Well i say we , My partner only scored over 60 once ! Dont know what was going on with him tonight but whatever it is it didnt do me any favours , I plaid ok , not brilliant but ok , the guys who beat us shouldnt have but fair play to them as the grabbed there chances |
