Make your practice sessions focused and simulate a competitive environment. You will accomplish very little by just throwing darts at a board. Focus your practice sessions and you’ll be on the path to shooting strong, consistent darts.

Practice makes Perfect Empty

I was meaning to ask other members about practice as I do tend to just throw darts without ever really improving.

I have varied routines, round in doubles, a few of the novice Flight School routines, cover shots too but I just find I am just throwing darts, I call it practice but whether I have had 2 hours practice a day or no practice at all, I dont throw any better on match nights.

How do people actually improve their match game through practice?

I say practice with conviction! In other words if your doing FB just here and there , say large grouping and not cutting down time and not increasing your numbers then you may need rebel to keep a log of your practice and what your doing with your time!

Most of my practice time is spent playing 501 in my head! Helps with my all round game and mental scoring plus finishing and it also gives me an idea of what i'm averaging Very Happy

I do one of the Flight School routines quite often too Very Happy
