That's brilliant George. It's great to see so many different countries listed. To me that speaks volumes on what you've achieved and given, and about the game of darts as a whole.

Way to go! Nice to have someone else around who is new to the program. I think it is very much a journey as much of my confidence is now gone, but sticking with it to come back better than I was. Maybe this is something particular to me?

It is for sure a journey. Took me 2hr 20min to finish today, but i did learn somethings today and somethings I still need to figure out.

Over two hours? Which drill are you using?? Send me an email so I can get straight with what you are doing. This does not sound right.

Yeah I've pushed into the two hour range as well on the A1. I feel pretty lost a lot of the time and cant seem to make things work the way I made them work before.
maybe I am unlearning what I knew before? It's early still and well I'm pretty darn stubborn, so I should see my way through it.
You will too shrek. Who knows one day we may even play against each other?

That's a good question. A lot better than I would have expected to be for someone who started playing darts last March, but also at times frustrated by not throwing as good as I think I can and to far too often 'let up' on my opponent. A few things have happened, one of which is the realization that in order to win I need to stick to business and the other is I need to stay relaxed. In order to get that working I have to first remember that darts is not an instant gratification sport. In addition I have gotten back to my drills which I had been doing but had gotten away from. So every day now it is 7 numbers on A3 with a bit of A2 warm up. Once I get the A3 between 30-40 minutes I'll add numbers. (Im 50-60 now).
I flirted a bit with the A4, but really that is not one I am really ready for yet.
Overall though, I'd say I'm doing good or at least certainly heading towards good things.
External factors can be tough though as people either seem to dismiss the game ("Oh it's just darts") or dismiss me ("You'll never beat that guy").
I guess that's their business. On the second point they may be right, but I doubt it.

Well the funny thing is I would almost appreciate it if they would say something about what I was specifically doing "THAT isnt good enough" can lead to learning...

A great program that I personally recommend to anyone no matter their level of play. And Merry Christmas to a great benefactor of the sport of darts. Your student- Larry
