| Maybe an optical illusion!! Yup, very cool points me son!! You're bound to hit a truckload of 180's now!!!
I had a set of the Megathrusts from Grip but they had the shafts that could only be used on them (plus I found the 26 gram set a tad heavy) but I did like the dart. I ended up selling them for what I paid for them. I might yet get a set in 24 grams one day.

| Their cool Trev, I assume they are fixed point? if so how much were they, I would like a set to go with my Bottelsen precisions, that Mr Pickup is very clever! |

I have a couple of sets of the cheaper ones and they fit perfectly in my Bottelsen Original's, will probably try the diamond points next time I make an order. |

| I admit the ones Jeff has made look very nice but not cheap, you did say $25 each and not $25 for a set of 3? |

| Also no mention of them being tungsten - to be fair I think steel is at least as tough as tungsten if not tougher - titanium and we are talking top notch points Either way, all I was suggesting that for a fixed point system for a hammer head style dart there are cheaper options than paying $25 to have a set custom made (if $25 is for a set rather than a single point), I know for a fact that I couldn't afford to pay that sort of money + shipping to the UK (would end up about $35/ £25) and I know we have several members UK based, I was merely suggesting a cheaper alternative, that's all |

| Is the whole point tungsten or just the screw in part, I would have thought a tungsten point that thin would break easily? |

I would certainly expect it to bend.... |

| Well the Target pure have thick stubby points, so thats what makes me think that a thin tungsten point would be too brittle? I dont really know. |

| $25 for a set of three....I buy from Jeff only because he makes top quality stuff.....I have bought the other points from Unicorn and other sites and the cones on the stems are too big!!! Couple of the sets I had bought were hollow tips which made me laugh....and they would not take them back after they bent hitting the floor! But with that being said...you don't know until you buy this stuff and try it!!! So like everything....if you want good stuff I guess you have to spend a little more! |

| Well there is no denying Jeff makes great products so I'm sure they well be worth it for $25, but as Rebel says it works out a lot more when adding shipping to UK, having said that they will only be light so should not cost more than maybe $7 to ship, so $32 total maybe?

| excuse my ignorance of American darts and bottlesons in particular....but what sort of darts in the UK would these points fit. I like the look of them, but love my phase 6s. would there be a way to use these sorts of points in the phase 6s...or a case of wanting a custom set made, but with a screw in part (technical term for me please??) for the point to go into??? |

| Not sure why you would want screw in points though Andy, you can just use the Target Storms, its just that the hammer head darts already have a screw collet so Trev just got them made to resemble the storms but as a fixed point and not a movable one. |

| The screw in part of the Bottelsen is the exact same thread as the stem/ shaft end meaning that you can change the dart around having the point at either end depending on where you want the grip etc.
The screw in points have the same thread as a 2ba shaft and so just screw in the dart leaving the other end for your shaft/ flight combo.
Totally agree, having not used the screw in points for very long, I guess they would bend eventually and the collars are quite big too on the cheaper ones, the JP ones look very well made.
