It was nothing really, just a minor scrape.

The house is very old and many things need to be repaired or replaced.
I'm currently undergoing a total renovation. As you can see by the pictures, Ive not finished yet.
Now I need to find a way to strengthen the fitting so it lasts more then 8 months and do something about those holes.

My lighting is pretty good, got that triple spot light for 10 pounds on ebay.
Quite powerful bulbs, makes shadows appear very faint.

The oche I got was actually a piece of wood I found in the hot water cupboard.
It already had 3 lethal looking nails in it, so I just hammered it into the floor.

Is the board upside down? Or the spider upside down? Is anything upside down or is everything upside down?

I have turned the board Otherwise nothing is upside down

Hi x2v, I'm a new guy in these parts but I think I may have some insight into your latest board downfall. If I read your pix correctly, I believe you applied the hardware to the wall and to the back of the board in reverse order. In the center of the back of the board should have been the large round headed screw only. The other part with the u-shaped holder goes into the wall. That's all a part of how we rotate the board when the T20 area gets all fuzzy (takes me a few years to get there though). So anyway, I advise you make that correction before the reinstall. Happy hammering and screwdrivering.

Nice advice, but in fact I did mount the board in the usual correct way.
I think the number 5 Pic misguided you, I was only resting the clasp on the board to take a picture of the damaged screws.
If you check pic 4 then you'll see it in its original position.

These are my current weapons of choice and the set up I use - 24g barrell, medium length nylon stems, standard shape flights with the lock rings in the flight for extra grip

I was practicing when I took the pic, yes...lol
The dog didn't learned yet its a dangerous spot to rest but some day he will
The surround is made of a sprayed hard paper I took from when I bought a new washing machine...lol
It's working so far, lasted a year already!

It's nothing crazy. Made it out of a couple pieces of wood left over from a work bench I ripped apart when I moved into this house. Actually sits on top of my foundation quite nicely. Thinking about hanging my old board as well so I can get some tourney action going with a few friends who are about as awful as I am. Space is a bit tight though. Gotta keep room for the this sucker...
