Why is darts called phase 1, phase 2 etc. ??

As the title says, why is a dart called "phase 1" or "phase 2" ??

Hi mate. It is simmilar to evolution from ape to human . Players learn more about the game they become smarter , to achive there new goals they need diffrent tools.
