Why would you say that? 4.4 mpr is REALLY good in steel tip. Throw a 4.4mpr against most anyone in a game of steel tip cricket and you'll win a high % of the time.

Started with a 7, 7, 6 to give 20 after the first 3 throws. My next throw was a 5. I started to get excited. Then another 6 (that's 31 after 5 throws)!! That's when I made a mistake and started to think. I thought "I'm on track for 60! I don't have a video camera... will anyone even believe me?"

Then 2 blank rounds in a row later I was back to my normal self... totalled 12 in the last 5 throws to leave 43.

A fine score by my standard, but I can't help thinking what might have been if my brain didn't get in the way censored

Ven... do you fill in the scoresheet after every game or after every throw? Seems like if you stopped after every throw it would be hard to get a good rhythm going?

OK.......after 8th round I was at 42 points......9th shot 9 points, gave me 51......last round shot 3......could not hit a double or triple to save my life...lol!!!!! So total is 54 points!!! head spin

Had NO plans on doing this challenge again. But that's why I love doing this weekly. Always being pushed to do better. McInnis got me back on the board tonight. Here's a couple good ones from tonight.

42 my best so far, managed to score 40 3 times in a row, steadily improving but have to pick kids up from school so have to stop for now.
A bit of a longer run on this later on and I reckon I can get mid to high 40's.

I fill in the scoresheet every throw (three darts) Smile

I'm a slow player so it isnt that hard Smile

But the total and MPD and MPR are filled in automatic Smile

Nice score of 59 Smile

42 was the best I got. I would love to break 50 but consistency is killing me.

32 here, ouch, shot eight rounds, high 20's 30, 31, 32...consistant but needs improvement, that's why i am here, i love this and the 100 20's and 100 bulls, you guys are great Very Happy

That's a 3.2 mpr. Top shooting in my book loopdogg. Glad you are enjoying your time here. I agree this forum is aces and the members that participate are what make it great Very Happy

had a few goes tonight and a 52 and a 55 were my best so try again tomorrow

Finally tried the challenge for this week did it about ten times and the best I could get is 55... for such a simple challenge this one is very trying on my patience I was getting some frustrated before hitting that 55 ready to throw my darts out the window.. Evil or Very Mad

59 is phenominal JD great shooting!!!

Thanks. If it wasn't for that one round I'd be stuck back in 4th place with the 54. I get lucky every once in awhile. Very Happy
