Will the Great Barneveld ever win another major? My opinion is no I think Raymond has switched darts soo much and fiddled with his set up to the point that he has set himself back. Shame he has done it to himself really with all the messing around. The man has one of the smoothest throws in all of darts but !!! what say you !

The way to cure the problem can only be found inside the head of the man from Den Haag, and if it can be resolved then there is no reason why Barney can’t go on to win more major trophies. The man is without doubt one of the greatest darts players in history, if only he could meet one of the greatest psychologists…

As with Taylor there is no doubting Barney is one of the all time greats. However, I would love to be proved wrong, but the way the new breed are coming through Barney won't win another major.

I personally think that the odds are stacked against Barney winning another Major Title. That said, though, I would love to see him do it!

In the tournaments I've watched Barney in, either he is on (as in early rounds), or off. I'm a big fan of him as well and would love to see him and Phil matched up and playing a type of match like when he won his last world title. It is pretty amazing how he can pound an opponent and then come back the next night and be the one taking the pounding. I would love to see him return to his old ways though.

Like most I would love to see the Barney of old, but I don't believe he will ever win a major again because he has lost his bottle. Simple as that me thinks

yeah would be awesome to see him at his best again, he has flashes of his best now and then but its not prolonged enough to get him anywhere. Not really sure if he will win another major, I think the competition now is so tough that it needs a very strong mental approach too and Barney just has not got that at the moment.

don't really know much about this ,but it's interesting to hear that even the greats keep tinkering with their set up , IMO if i had won majors with a certain set up i'd stick with it and perhaps work more with the mental side

Barney is a goner. He doesnt have it in the head anymore. Until he realises that he is his own worst enemy, then he will depart tournies at the wrong end.

I must be one of the only one's here that has never rated Barney that highly. I always thought of him as a streak player.

That being said, I still have enjoyed watching his stoushes with Taylor.
