heres mine updated. first with my go to phase 6s and the second with my back up lewis'. i prefer the phase 6s because the purist grip is in the perfect spot for me while the lewis' are just a tad too long and i tend to grip right where the smooth band is (i'd prefer it if the entire dart had the rings all the way to the rear microgrip).

I tried your style of grip about an hour ago Fox, and my first dart went in T20, next on went in 6 though, but the 3rd went above the T20 wire!

Now what the hell!!!! maybe just a fluke? I only threw about 6 darts but they went fairly straight in the 20 area???????????

Surprised I got them with that style of grip, that it would not work at all, I normally grip near the front of the dart.

Finally getting around to posting mine. First one is with Phase 6s and second one is with Phase 2s. Really no difference between the two other than where the thumb starts on the barrel.

just a finger and thumb Jimbo, I could never throw my darts like that, but less contact with the barrel affords a cleaner release I guess.

Ive been throwing like that for years now. I used to use 3 or 4 fingers but for some reason it just evolved into the 2 fingers.

I get the odd roll off the index finger which normally goes in the 5.

I see, I tend to like gripping near the point but sometimes I have moved up the barrel and threw just as well:

Fairly simple 2 fingers + thumb grip for me. I have changed my "spare fingers" from under the barrel to above the barrel recently as my wrist was cracking a lot and this seems to have cut that out.

Haha yeah I'm hoping so mate. After seeing your set I hunted some out on ebay. Really good deal. £8.99 for a brand new set sold by Steve himself. Ordered them 9 o'clock Thursday night and arrived this morning so well chuffed with that. Seems like the adonis sprinkled a bit of his magic on em too

your grip looks well comfy on that shape of dart x2v, its interesting seeing how people seem to fit some shapes well. I would hold those at the front so it would probably look a little unbalanced with my grip, but I guess we all just grip the way that suits.

Here's mine.

with my non throwing hand i hold the darts by the tip, so when i pick them up to throw my rude finger goes were the tip meets the barrel and the thumb and pointing finger just find there way there. Spare fingers are open.

WOW! hard to believe the dart could be thrown like that, I wonder if there is any video footage of her throwing?

seems like the darts shape, grip, length etc wont matter if she is throwing from the point!
