| Anyone else having problems re pointing Red Dragon darts? I have the Chris Masons and I'm having a hell of a time getting them to take the Target points. |

Its more likely the Target points that are the issue, they dont fit all barrels too well. You will have to use some brute force or try to either shave a little off the points or make the hole bigger. |

| Well it seems the problem is they are too loose and fall out |

I see, thought ya meant was too big to fit barrels, hmm tough one then, not sure what ya can do in that case, guess you will have to make do with normal points. |

| Well I got two outta 3 to stay finally. Ill keep trying. If i go too far is there risk of damaging the barrel itself? |

| I think I have a set of those at home - I'll have a go with one of my RD sets and see if they stick in them ok when I get home tonight. My guess is that RD use slightly thicker points on their darts. |

| Did you use cling film or, I prefer, the plastic bag that flights and stems come in? Just put the cling film over the hole before you push the point in?
Had loads off issues with Target points being too fat for the barrel, normally wrap the point in a cloth, insert point first into my trusty power drill then spin the end that is to be inserted through fine sand paper for a few rotations, normally takes off just enough to slide into the barrel. |

So use the cling film if they are too loose right? |

| Yes, I have found with loose fitting points stretch the cling film (plastic bag) over the hole on the barrel, press the new point in and the cling film should grip it as it is pushed in...... hopefully When the time comes to change the points again the cling film will pop out with the old point. Saw the tip somewhere else and it has worked for me on several occasions.

| Did you try the plastic seal bag? The ones you get stems and flights in, thicker than cling film and double plastic. I use them instead of cling film and have never had any problem. Just get the plastic bag, put over the barrel hole, shove the point in and insert via usual method - you are looking at .25 of a millimeter of plastic all in, should surely hold your points unless you barrel holes are extremely big or the points unusually thin. |

| Thought I had a set of the laser points to try out but can't find them - I think I must have got rid of them when I realised they killed one of my boards lol. Hope the plastic bag tip works for you. |

| No luck, they lasted about an hour then fell out. Put the designa points in and they seem fine. |
