Trident 180's Empty
PostSubject: Trident 180's   Trident 180's EmptyMon Mar 11, 2013 11:21 am

I had a quick look (on my mobile mind you) and didn't see anything mentioned on this.....

For those of us on a tight budget (or enough darts in our collection that fitting every set would cost a kings ransom) adding and/or replacing Trident cones when we repoint can be a nightmare.

If you want to put a set of previously used cones onto another set of darts but make those loose cones fit better, stick a few onto a safety pin (or similar) and give them in a dunk in water fresh off the boil. The heat will shrink them enough to be used on another set of points. This also works if they are fitting loosely on the points straight from the packet (has happened to me a couple times).
