Mine finally died last night, as I was fitting a £6 set of storm points, flattened them all, tried some other points and no matter how gentle I am in pushing the darts the ends of the points flatten. I am guessing its something to do with that little barrel thing with 3 grub screws, took it apart, tried to clean it but still flattening points I think whatever shape it is to accept the point end without damaging it has worn, looked for a replacement barrel but nothing out there. Its the part inside here: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Gutted.

Yeah, they fit them but won't take them out, you have to use adjustable spanner and pliers for that. Emailed unicorn Trevor, will let you know if I have same result, not holding my breath

Well, after a couple of emails I received...... not a new re-pointer but a new anvil to fit into my re-pointer. Credit to Unicorn, they sent it free of charge with instructions how to fit it, pretty simple so I am very pleased and was able to fit a new set of points withing 5mins of receiving it. So Unicorn gets a thumbs up from me for this one, a fault with their product, no extra cost to me and a replacement part sent out to me - me re-pointer is as good as new. Thanks for the advice Trevor, I was about 5mins away from ordering a new one, so a big +1 from me mate
