Shot Board Hanging Bracket Empty
PostSubject: Shot Board Hanging Bracket   Shot Board Hanging Bracket EmptySat Feb 23, 2013 11:47 am

I order this a few weeks ago and have just gotten around to installing it.

The package arrived in a padded envelope.

This is what the package contained.

Installation:
This hanging unit is a piece of cake to mount.
First I removed my old bracket.

Then I secured the back part of the bracket to my back board and checked the height.

Then put in the 4 screws provided and removed the center screw that I used to hold it in place while I drilled pilot holes in the four mounting holes.

Then I took the screw out of the back of my board. Using this screw, I positioned the other half of the bracket and drilled pilot holes.

Then screwed in the 3 screws provided and that was it. Job done.

Total time taken was around 10 minutes.

The only thing I have noticed with this bracket is that the board sits a bit further off of my back board and I needed to chock it up a little so the board doesnt wobble.

All in all, this is a pretty good mounting bracket and at $2.50 US from Darts Warehouse, it is a worth while investment.
