I had a few ideas from this forum. So I had a look around the workshop and came up with this idea for holding the points to replace them. Every thing was around, cost nothing. Any thorghts. The old drill bit holder , ( I have alot of timber to use ,if the shaft gets stuck. It is a very hard wood so it should hold. Just waiting for the new points to arrive.Before I give it ago.[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

I think thats a good method as long as they go in nice and straight, looks an easy solution to inserting points. good job
