| ouch!! thats gota suck. A light sanding could bring the colour back and if your keen you could weigh the dicoloured dart before you sand it and then after to see if it falls in the +-.05 weight range. If not sand remaning darts if you think its guna play with your head. Im assuming you also burnt the paint out of the little holes too. Heating any metal till it changes colour stuffs the temper up you may have to reheat and dunk it in some water to temper it again. The problem with heating the barrel and the broken tip at the same time is that they are both expanding together if there was some tip left you could cool it down (shrinking it) and you might have half a chance. Drilling it out would be your best option but this is probably a job for a lathe as the tips are quite hard material and keeping the bit center is of utmost importance. Maybe see what mr ELVIN darts can do for you or Jeoff Pickup both of those guy's should be able to help with the discolouring and maybe re temper after they finish laughing at you. Worst case you just have to bye another set then you got five, great for perfecting your stroke but you dont need to get any better Best of luck Trev |

| Dirty G is on the money there.
I had a point snap off (after I launched a dart at the wall in frustration lol).
Had to get it drilled out, it's not the cheapest thing as they normally wreck a few drill bits as the tips will be 'hardened' and will blunt or snap a good few drill bits trying to get it out.
I'd take it to a local Engineering business and get them to do it in a lathe (as G says).
Good luck |

| Would target change it because of the lifetime barrel guarantee? Or is it your fault because you changed the point?

| target wont cover point issues, the barrel warrenty is in case the barrel gets damaged under normal use. |

| Just wondering, is it possible to wreck the tungsten where the point is placed when a dart hits concrete? or is it very unlikely? |

| Like the tungsten can't get deeper due to the point hitting concrete? |

| I think thats unlikely as the hole is only so deep so cant go any deeper. |
