| With Christmas right around the corner I think I'm going to be asking Santa for a dartboard for home use.
That said, I'd like to hear everyone's opinions on the pros and cons of different models and brands.
Darts Live 100s
Arachnid Cricket Pro 750
Cheers! |

| Take a look at this thread. Also make sure you see Mac's review on the Dartslive 100s board. Good stuff. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] |

| Winmau,
Thanks for pointing those out. I actually posted in the Darts Live 100s review thread before...
I was just wanting to know if anyone has experience with both boards and could comment...?
My preference is to use Lippoints (short) so there might be a bounce out issue with the 100s, wonder if its the same with the Arachnid....?
Personally, not a fan of the Arachnid color scheme but if is the better board............

| Your Lippoints should be fine mate as that is what a lot of the pros use. |

| I went to the company that runs our local dart and pool leagues, they just brought in the newest generation of boards, and they sold me an older machine. They went over it with a fine tooth comb and replaced the face. Even put a free credit button so I don't have to pay. I have a pic but having difficulty posting it

| Been wanting to post these photos my daughter had to show me. This is the damage of the catch ring on the DartsLive 100s. Mainly from my poor shooting at double 20 and double 5. I was using 18 gram Monster Gunners, switched to 14 and 16 gram puma legends. I hope the photos go through. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |

| I know I'm not that good of a shooter. There are a few weak spots on the catch ring after hitting it in same spot over and over. Wife ordered me my first steel tip board for Xmas, its coming late, should be here Wednesday. She did not tell me witch one I hope its not a paper one. |

| I practice soft tip on my Blade 4 and stand back at 8'. I do not practice soft tip on a soft tip board.
I stand back at 8' in steel tip too. |

| Looks like my cheap Halex board has one over the dartslive board. The outside of mine has holes like the face of the board to catch missed doubles. |

| Gday, Just ordered this: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]its a 15.5" not an 13", will repost and give you review. atm Im using Harrows 180, Great little board but its the 13.5"(Euro style) and i want a American/Japan version as a spare. Harrows 180 is a great little board, Very durable, including lots of game.. more then 100s.. So far the only problem i have with Harrows 180 are bounce out.. resolved by switching to "cheapo" and longer tips + using standard flight instead of slim flight!!! |

| Been using the Puma Board for month and a half, Overall i can say its a very Quiet Board. the Build Quality I give it a 4/10 Noise (compare to a Electronic Soft tip Dartboard) 1/10 Installation: VERY easy.. as i use the 3M Velcro sticker Weight: less then 500-800g Tips:tired 5 different brands of tips, all stuck to board very well **2BA** Pros: Very quiet, light weight, Low Price($25 @ Dartwarehouse) Great practices board Cons: the Segments Holes doesn't have the "concave" design therefore bounce out might occur Build quality can be improve, as Spider on board is fairly Thick. Overall: 6.5/10 there is also another board available in the market, D.Craft SATURN, Roughly ~$40-50 but seems to have a better review ((Image might take a while to load)) [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.][You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Next review will be Target Teppen K2 (( New ordered darts, waiting for delivery))[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |
