| As far as Martin Adams is concerned i just dont think he looks in his best shape , He looked tired and worn , On the other hand Tony O Shea seems to have a spring in his step and a sparkle in his eye , He really looks up for it ! It would be great for the B.D.O game in general i think if Tony could go on to win the title BUT he has to take out Martin Adams first and that will be no easy task ! |

| Didn't see any of today's play as I had a match myself, but pleased as punch that TOS knocked out Wolfie.
Not very impressed though that the women's final is on at 5 o'clock tomorrow night!!! Would love to see the gorgeous Anastasia against the very consistent Deta. |

| I didn't even know she was English until she was on Bullseye! I thought she was South African, don't know why. |

| She's not actually English - she was born in Jamaica and came over to England when she was around 13 or 14. I'm not 100% but I think she may be registered for my local County, Essex. She definitely played for Essex in the past anyway. There's a new organisation in London called the City of London Darts Association, and they held an alternative World Championship last year - Deta played in at least one of the qualifying rounds. As far as I am aware they will be holding it again this year so hopefully she will be playing in it again this year. I was disappointed not to actually make any of the events last year, but I'll definitely enter one or two this year as it's not too far from the office - and you never know, I may even get drawn to play against her |

| Well its finals day ! Tony O Shea v Christian Kist , Should be a good final ! My heart wants Tony to win , hes a trier and has been around for what seems like forever and a firm favourite with the crowds however my head tells me Christian has a hell of a game and has proven he can handle the pressure but its another day , Finals day , Different pressures whatever the outcome Christian Kist will be a major force in darts for the foreseeable future as long as he doesnt go down the Barney route ! Whoever wins i think it will be good for the B.D.O and darts in general , Martin Adams always seems to be in the final so its good to know at least we will have a new champion to take the game forward . |

| Hope it's a good game - but will they take the BDO forward? Maybe the winner - or even both finalists - may move ove to the PDC like Hankey has done |

| Good point ! I really hope not , Cant really see Tony switching but as for Kist who knows ? Hes a young gun with a whole career in front of him so i dont suppose you could blame him . But could they leave the B.D.O if they were champion ? I think theres something in there contracts about that , couldnt be certain tho ! |

Sorry, just noticed this post - here is the COLDA mission statement http://cityoflondondarts.co.uk/index.php/mission-statementEDIT: two of the players in the main picture on the front are going to Q School this year - the guy third on the left is Richie Howson and the guy second from the right is Paul Marsh (aka swampy). If swampy reckons he is good enough for Q School then I reckon I must be as well - I beat him when I played him at singles in the Summer League last year lol.

I believe they changed all the contracts once Hankey said yesterday morning that he wouldn't bother playing his semi final until they were changed. |

| Well done to Christian Kist and Tony O Shea , Many of us hoped Tony would win but it wasnt to be ! I wonder if Tony will get this kind of chance again . I think the better player on the day won on the day and who knows he may well go on to be a dominant force in darts . Its great to see a young guy win but you have to feel for the Silverback |

| Andy ^^ i doubt very much Tony O'Shea shall get to another Embassy Final WHY ? Because i feel with young guys like Kist who is only 25 yrs of age and has shown he has the bottle as did Klassen also when he won the Embassy although he hasnt done to much since But Kist is number 13 in the Dutch rankings i think i heard right on tv there's so many very good young Dutch players nowadays coming through and they tend to me to have the right mental game for Darts as they tend to keep their emotions in check and are not put off by the large opposing crowd roaring on the home players .. No Tony OShea has had his last chance in my honest opinion and although hes been a very good player not to win the Biggy unfortunately for him i reckon his time has ended and the same goes now for Martin Adams ..we shall see them back for a year or 3 but a cant see any of them hitting the heights again..as i feel its the new young guns from Holland whom i reckon are going to take over now..but time shall tell |

| If im totally honest i would whole heartedly agree with you ! The Dutch as you say have a steely attitude and dont seem to get involved in silly antics , Bit concerned about our current uk players , On the whole the dutch swept the best we have in the B.D.O aside ! Granted some of our guys werent at there best but the dutch have certainly fired a warning shot across our bows . But that said dutch players such as Stompe , Barneveld , Classen have done the same kind of thing then gone off the boil so to speak , As you say only time shall tell ! |

Ye i agree but who knows maybe Kist is another Klassen a one hit wonder ? as sais time shall tell I do think he like Klassen has hit his top form on the week and the day in the final and possibly another one hit wonder ? But what next another Dutch one hit wonder kid coming along next year at the Embassy ? We call it the BDO ( British Darts Organisation ) but with young Dutchmen winning such maybe we should rename the BDO to WHAT lol answers welcome  |

Sounds good!, why dont you give Q school a go then, you never know? Probably because I'm not that good - I just played a blinder that game lol. If I was at the level I was 25-30 years ago when I stopped playing though then I would be there like a shot, but the only reason I didn't try playing full time was because the money wasn't in the game then. |
