BDO Darts at lakeside

Been watching the darts over the last couple of days , I think in all fairness the players are suffering from first round jitters , But have you noticed how many darts have just fallen out of the board ?

I noticed a lot of bounce outs and was same last year when they first used the Blade 4, maybe they are just too hard out the box, I wonder if thats why Ros montgomery has got spring loaded points this year

It will be interesting to see if the situation improves as the tournament goes on , Those BLADES are hard when new , Well the one i played on a few weeks back was anyway .

Would like to see one of Waites, Winstanley, Kong or O'Shea win it - well anyone apart from Adams really lol. Adams is a good player but I just don't like him lol.

As for the darts falling out, I think it's great when they fall down the gap and they have to hold up play to retrieve them. The organisation is bad and the tv coverage is bad - I feel really sorry for the players.

One thing with new Blades, if you get lots of fallouts from them just scuff the dart points and they should then stay in - mine did. Liked the board at first but went off it after a couple of months lol.

Can't believe it, got the darts on at the moment and Tony West has done as well as Barney - he has lost a dart in his suitcase and is using a set he has borrowed off of Tony Martin (Anastasia's lucky other half)

Did see the guy Jenkins other day searching fir a dart which bounced out of the board

and with the help of the announcer he found it ok Smile

I thought the winner would come from the Waites/Hankey match so I'm going with Hankey to pick up no 3 - and then I reckon he will do a hasty exit from the BDO over to the PDC.

But that said do you think Hankey has got the game to cross over with ? Never ming the rather outspoken crowds over there , His temperament seems to let him down at times .

If either Hankey, Waites or Winstanley crossed over then I've no doubt they would make the top 20 within a year. They wouldn't get top 4 as that's basically sorted for the next couple of years, but after them then it's pretty much even down to no 20 or so.

Waites and Winstanley i have no doubts about,,, Hankey would as you say probably get into the top 20 but i feel he would be at the wrong end , just my thoughts Smile
