| Being a member of the "I've Owned More Darts Than I Could Ever Use" club, and from experimenting with shaft and flight combinations for as long as I can remember, when I used a slim long barrel with a long shaft, I always felt that I was using a lot of wrist movement upon release. Throwing a short, John Lowe style barrel with an inbetween shaft on the other hand felt as if I was using more of the forearm in the throw. Just my two cents Trollman but maybe how you release depends on the setup. I'm a pub player of course, so I'm sure there are a lot more players out there who might be able to explain it better. |
