| Some of the players already confirmed include, Deta Hedman, Anastasia, and Trina in the ladies and Gary Robson, Glen Duraint and Tony Eccles in the mens.
Jointly organised by the JDO and the EDO it promises to be one of the most social and friendly events of the year, just as it was a few years back when for fifteen years or so the Festival was one of the most eagerlyt anticpated events in the diary, with iconic players like Taylor, Bristow, Lowe, Deller, Wilson, Lazerenko, Leighteen Rees all featuring in the roll call of winners |

| I like it, we have been running a no hopers and cabbagess for about ten eyars or so when we run the English Pool Festival. Always the last event to be run, I have seen people throw games in the round before the prize money (especially if they are playing a great player in the next round) just to ensure they get in Carrying around the mantle of the biggest Cabbage in the land apparently is done with some reverance and pride! I have already put my name down for it.....cant honestly see the likes of Glen D being eligible for it, but that would be a story in itself were it to be so! |

Welcome to the forum too!
The other thing is that whilst there is a lot of money up for grabs, thre secret of Jersey and always has been has been the comaraderie and the craik people always have, and many ex Jersey festival attendees have insisted 'what happened in previous Jersey events stays in Jersey!!' so I would imagine there are many tales to tell from years gone by...especially from three time Jersey winner Cliff Lazerenko whose exploits, especially those of the drinking kind are the stuff of real legends |

| Apparently the ferries dont come back to the UK on the Sunday which pretty much forces players through no fault oif theirs and who sail to stay an extra night and pay an extra £30 for doing so
So what i will do for any players wishing to go over on the ferry whilst they will still have to pay this £30 when booking is on production of their ticket reimburse this money back to them immediately on their arrival, meaning if nothing else they will get an extra night on the lash for nothing! |

| I have also been tracking flight scanner and there are some great deals to be had at the moment especially as Flybe are doing a 25% of all tickets promotion which means some of the flights are very reasonable
EG: Newcastle £123, Belfast City airport and Belfast International airport £93 and £125 respectively, Stanstead £101, Brimingham £97, Southampton £66 and Gatwick £56
Book your flights now!

| I don't know how much of the event but the EDO are helping out on this and will also be streaming some of it. Keep your eyes peeled on the EDO site - more live darts to watch http://www.englanddarts.co.uk/ |
