When I was looking for the Sensations in the Unicorn books a couple of weeks ago I saw these and thought they looked nice - I was looking on ebay a couple of days later and there was a set so I had to get it lol. The postman has just dropped these off, they are Unicorn Q darts - they came in 2 different colours and 3 different weights - these ones are 25g. They look like they have been thrown for about 5 minutes as there are no marks on the barrels - the only thing wrong with them as far as I can see is one of the sliksticks is broken on one side, and there are some small scratches on the sliksticks as well. Nice darts all the same and glad I got a set: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]http://www.unicorn-darts.com/upload/dartsbooks/pages/dbp26_6.jpg

Wow!! Everything there is completely original as it came from Unicorn. Nice find. Here's a pic from my 1993 catalog. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

The link in my post is the page you've shown Winmau - that's where I first saw them before I saw them on ebay. They came in a rather fetching dart master caddy type box - don't know if that's from the same period but can't see me ever using it. I reckon this is where Cosmo got the idea for their cases from lol: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Didn't see your link. Was checking out my catalogs and it appears they were 1st released in 1991. The condition of yours are excellent. Don't see many old darts like that with original stems and flights. Pretty cool if ya ask me.

I just won a set of the blue ones on ebay today in one of these boxes - it doesn't have the Unicorn Q Darts sticker on the box though |

Blue ones are ugly IMO (of course Grip has them). But the ones originally posted pretty cool

Out of the two I prefer the brown - but it will be good to have both in the collection lol

Got a set of the John Lowe Club Special in original case with flights and stems - these are shown in the catalogue pic Winmau put up 4th along if looking left to right. Don't like them myself but came with a job lot i purchased a good while back. Barrels are made from brass with a special coloured enamel coating.
