LOL. I had 3 hat tricks, but just couldn't get in the bull. Guess that's what keeps me coming back to darts time after time. I went from shooting lights out to can't hit anything in a matter of 1 turn. |

| a p.b. of 78. Damed if I can get it any lower than that, look's like Im outclassed here, some of these scores are insane. Need to start a weekly challenge for RUNTS like me and keep you bruisers away. Im having fun doing this though, got 5 strait and quite a few 3's and couple o 4's on occasion. Never do this but It has certainly got my focus in, will have to do it more often. Cant wait to take it to comp. |

| The thing with these challenges (and practise routines in general) is the more you do them the easier they become, and the more confident you will be in a match situation (well that's the theory anyway hahaha).
When you do your practise don't just try and pound the T20 bed, practise other aspects of boardcraft as well such as doubles and finishing. By finishing I mean combination out shots and/or setting up a double for your next throw (the 121 game is good for this).
So Jimbo, if you reckon doubles isn't your strong point put more emphasis on that aspect in your practise sessions. I'm not saying don't practise the high treble cover shots, etc, but include more things that will help on your weaker points. |

I know what I should be doing but actually doing it is the part I'm struggling with. I have been practicing pegs from 40 to 80 trying to work on getting the single numbers that tend to trip me up a lot. Funny thing about practicing doubles for me is that I will start hitting them at home, but that form doesnt seem to follow me out on league nights. |

| Haha, what a difference 24 hrs makes.
Just did 68 darts and that was with a kid watching me. We are looking after a friends kid while her grandpa was rushed to hospital.
I know I threw a lot more positively tonight compared to last night. |

| Had ago at this earlier. Got 103 but never warmed up so I reckon I should get below 100 easy enough when I try it again later.

| Just had a couple of goes - 52 followed by 43 darts.
I may be able to knock a couple off of that as it took 6 darts to get the bullseye, but I can't see me breaking the 40 barrier somehow.
Now if only I could take those doubles into the league I'd win at least 3 out of 4 every week lol. |

| Was thinking of having members 'best' score only on the table, as there are so many changes and participants it will make thing more ordered and easier to follow, all other attempts and scores will still be logged in the thread,
Hope this is OK,
Cheers |

| OK table updated with 'best' attempt only, all other scores are logged in the thread replies. If anyones 'best' score is missing from the list can you let me know, had a quick look through and it all seems to be in order but could have missed one. Hope thats OK, again thanks to everyone who has had a try, and good luck to those that are still trying to beat their best scores (including myself) All entries in by 6PM GMT on Sunday (16th Sept), winner chooses next weeks challenge, Cheers |

| Nice!!! I had a feeling a good shooter could break into the 30's. When I got 45 I was shooting well but had a few open rounds. Well done Neil!! Looks like me and the video will have work to do the next couple days. |

As last weeks winner McInnis180 gets to choose the new challenge, this is one we can all have a go at: "Well I need practice for my doubles, and one I like to do is the around the world double shoot!!! Starting with 1, try and hit the double, see how many darts it takes you to get all around the board to twenty. So if you hit it on the first dart....shoot at the 2 and so on!!! BUT....BIG FINISH IS YOU HAVE TO HIT THE BULL TO FINISH OFF THE CHALLENGE!!!!! Good Luck Guys and Gals!!!!!!" So, lets see who can hit all the doubles in numerical order, 1-20, finishing with the Bullseye (DB) in the least darts. The winner gets to pick next weeks challenge and also one of these for their profile: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] Badges for your signature will be updated with every weekly challenge you win.
