Stroke 911 Empty
PostSubject: Stroke 911   Stroke 911 EmptyFri Jul 06, 2012 2:09 pm

I emailed George for Flight School and we agreed that I needed Stroke 911 first.

I worked on the three aspects of my stroke last night, focusing on the dart speed, dart parabola and side to side path of dart, one at a time, for fifteen minutes each. I stopped analysing other factors such as where I stood at the oche, my stance and my grip, etc.

It was zen-like, whatever that means. I was able to find my 'comfort' speed and stroke (without being conscious about the mechanics) and the darts landed more consistently on the board. I don't want to get ahead of myself and say it's going to be fine the rest of the way. But I knew there was progress made.

I'm planning to give the same exercise a go for the next few days (or weeks) and see what happens. Hopefully I'll be able to keep a consistent stroke.

Thanks, master yoda-George. happy dude

Thats good to hear Mark!

Sometimes we just need to go back to the basics and focus a little on that. For us not so gifted players it seems like a huge uphill struggle, but you will get there, it just takes some application and dedication!

Got two 180s yesterday using two dart setups. I think I'm on to something. Thanks, George!

Cheers cutter! Like grip said, sometimes you need to take yourself back to the basics and cut out all of the rest. You can't have a proper game without a good foundation.

It's great to hear cutter doing so well - BUT -
affraid Evil or Very Mad No
Stroke 911 is not something just anyone should consider fooling around with, or picking some part of it they hear about and using it.
This is for someone who has serious problems, it's not for someone who thinks they have a little something to 'make better.'
No Evil or Very Mad rolling eyes
A person can destroy what ever game they currently have. Don't go to the darts emergency room out of curiosity.
