12.04 The score is counted from the side of the segment wire in which the point of the dart enters and remains in, or touching, the face of the dartboard. Looks like that dart would score a 60 according to BDO rules. |

| I think I have had arguments about that rule in the past. No one ever seems sure of what it should be. Gets pretty heated sometimes cos as you all know, "Everyone is an expert on the rules of darts." |

| still seems ambiguous as it says stays in, does it mean only if it stays in the segment it entered?

I read this as: as long as the point of the dart ends up remaining in or touching the face of the dartboard, it is a scoring dart. And what is scored is determined by what side of the segment wire the point of the dart enters. Could be wrong though. Like grip says, it is definitely a bit difficult to parse. |

| My level 5 razor grips are level 4 now no not from groupings lol (some maybe) but bounce outs on tile floors sent the sparks flying off points and so the barrel must take a beating too. So new darts every 6 mos or so (oh darn ! lol) |

1 game of 501 all that time? Must of been pretty low scoring. |

| The morning schedule doesn't look that great for the Cash Converters. Won't be streaming it.
The night line up looks awesome though. |

| Went to my friends electronics repair/ darts shop today to pick up a package from Jimbo. I also went to look for the little rubber O rings that people use for aluminum shafts. I was having a look around on a shelf and found several shoe boxes full of old flights. I nearly fell over backwards looking through these boxes!!!!! Couldn't believe what I was seeing. Old vintage Durro, Unicorn, and MANY other flights I've only seen pics of. There was also several sets of old Voks points still new in the package along with TONS of other movable points. Just SO many odds and ends laying around in these boxes. Was amazing!!! Then he mentions he has several albums of flights in a back closet somewhere. I find a huge blue album and start having a look through it. Every old vintage flight you could think of was in there. I also found some player flights with faces on them that even I didn't recognize. And after looking at all the old magazines I have I feel I can recognize just about anyone. When he closes up shop in a few months it's going to be INSANE looking through drawers and shelves I haven't looked at yet. The amount of dart stuff this man has is truly incredible. The treasures I haul out of there will be awesome. |
