I'm sure I saw a video a few weeks back where someone finished on a single number - thanks for the clarification. At least that makes it a little harder.

They use Master Out, which is double, triple or bull and either bull counts for 50 in the 01 games.
Thats what makes soft tip that little bit more different from steel tip. Gives it it's own personality.

About what Winmau is saying about worth players, also in the PDC, on first rounds of the pro tours are players that aren't good at playing darts, they simply play because they like it, but appart of those matches, there where other many great ones, for example, lourence Ilagan lost on...last 16 that means that there is a great level of dart players in this tournament, i can write a lot of them, David Fatum, Scott kirchner, Paul Lim, Royden Lam, Lourence Ilagan, Sho katsumi, Mitsumasa Hoshino, Yuji Eguchi, Ray Carver, Paul Lim, Kenichi Aijiki, Randy Van Deursen, Benny Dersch, Masa Lui, Atsuki Mizuguchi, John Fong, Amin Abdul Ghani, Ronald Briones, Richard Spinoza, Robert Heckman, Watanyu, Scott Mackenzie, Jerry SUerto, Keita Ono, Haruki Muramatsu, Chris White...ALL THIS ARE TOP PLAYERS, and many that i didn't writte...so there is a GREAT level to compete with...

I totally agree Papa. Many great players indeed.
But out of the field of 128 you named just a few. Let's say there are 50 decent players. Leaves many that aren't so great. Just makes me wonder how the guy that played Lourance even entered the tournament. It's not like he was nervous or just had a bad day. This guy was terrible. Beginner kind of terrible.

What a great match that was. How unlucky was the guy that lost. He has thrown his backside off and lost.

That was ridiculous! Those cricket games were out of control. 7+ MPR in the first... Honestly...
Mac, you'll appreciate this, they hit a lot of fat triples LOL

I've been involved and seen many soft tip cricket games.
You won't see many over a 7.5 mpr!!!
That was awesome!!

No. It's a bit far for me.
Having got back into darts just recently I really haven't made plans for big tourneys.
Now with my heel acting up, I'm just seeing how each day treats me.
I would of loved to go though.

I think its the biggest day in darts there in the US this year. Well the most publicised tournament anyway.
DartsLive are really pushing into the US now.

One of our biggest female stars just tried Dartslive a few weeks ago and she LOVED it.
Is now going to play in Vegas at this tourney.

I was wondering how long it would take for the ladies to get on to it.
Its a shame Phoenix or Arachnid haven't tried to push something like this.

WOW!!! It's getting ready to go down. Check out this insane line up of players. I noticed a few big names that might be new to soft tip. Coming over from steel tip. Pay close attention to #58. That's a good one.
