I've seen that a lot Jimbo. Sometimes you will see them throw at the double when going for the close. I have to admit, that double is pretty huge. If it's the middle of the game and you have a rhythm going, the double is sometimes a good choice. Although I don't do it that often, I will do it when needed.

Let's say the other guy has a certain number closed. You need 2 marks to close that number. You hit a triple.

You would only get credit for 2 marks. So in some cases you might of shot better than your final MPR indicates.

I wouldve thought that they ping triples all the time why shift to a double and risk missing.
