Someone has created an online petition to hopefully get a response from TV companies, may be a long shot but if plenty of people sign it then you just never know, I have signed it so hope you guys will too!:

With millions of darts players and fans all around the World we feel it is time the sport had it's own dedicated TV channel, sign this petition if you agree and when we have enough support we will send it to Sky TV, the PDC and the BDO and see if we can help make it happen. We know there is a lot more involved than just an audience (finance and the like) but if you do not let people know that there is a demand for something then it will never happen so here we go...

Signed aswell...not that I can see it doing any good as there's nothing to stop you making up names and adding them. Chris Packet, Chris Peacock, patty O'Door (insert funny name here) etc etc.

Yeah I guess thats true, but I think the guys who started the petition are using it more as a signal to the powers that be that people would be interested in such a thing, may not get anywhere but its worth a try.

My woman reckons a full time dart channel would ruin me. I reckon my womans just jealous cause shes rubbish at darts ( well, worse than me anyway )

That would be amazing. How many times could you watch it though?

A darts channel could show soft tip comps past and present from around the world. I remember Eurosport used to show some soft tip darts from Japan.
