As some of you may know I like to christen all my darts with a 180 lol. Well there is one set that is evading me doing this and that is the Stephen Bunting Bullets - most likely too light at 14.5g, I'm off down B&Q shortly and decided to get the Bullets out for quick throw before I go. They are flying quite well and I think I'm getting closer to the max - but I just thought I was finally going to do it and got excited on the third dart lol

That's not a bad idea - about another 8 grams each should do it lol

Unlucky mate but don't worry you'll hit it eventually, you don't give in your a stubborn one lol

If I ever threw them they'd be in the wall/ceiling or bang goes a light bulb!!

Belive it or not Bunting actually has his darts lathed down to a smooth finish, making them around 12g!

I had a lot of respect for him for throwing 14g darts the way he does - I've got even more now.


Plumbing now all sorted so after some lunch I'm determined to do it now I know I can throw the things lol

try them with a short stem and mini standard mike. even if you dont normally use that setup, i switched my mccoys(also a compact dart) to this and made a world of difference.

Did it - put on some 28mm stems and standard Airs - I can rest easy now

LOL you can practice with a straw and stick some blu tack and a pin in one end and a flight on the other.

amazed those would even fly.

Yeah I have some but you cant throw them like a dart, I think you have to throw them a bit like a knife thrower throws knives, end over end.
