| Hey lads and lasses....Shetland darts competition tonight with 8 of the best in the world in our littles islands. Format tonight is a meet the players over dinner and an eric bristow exhibition....chance to play bristow and talk with the 8 pros competing for the big prize tomorrow......Well yours truly is attending both nights. So I have the chance (perhaps) to aska few questions to great and good, so if you want to know what the Power has for breakfast, or find out who is the biggest bad boy, Hankey or Nicholson...get your questions in here quickly....just back from a holiday in france so sorry for the short notice.
I shall be tweeting tonight and tomorrow giving you the very latest scores. The power hit a nine dart darter last year, so follow my tweets if you want to find out the latest scores. I'm just hoping barney and anderson (if he is fit enough to play) do well.
Camera coming and pics will follow in due course.
Feels like Christmas to me just now....I cannot wait |

| Thats great Glen, which are the 8 players!
If you have chance then ask Taylor if his throw was his natural one or did he develop it through practice (always looks a little manufactured to me)

| If you get a chance can you ask Russ if he prefers doing the refereeing or would he rather be playing up on the stage.
Also looking forward to hearing about you beating Eric B. Is the bullseye challenge thing tonight as well? |

| Good luck Andy, and another jealous green eyed Darts Nutz member right here It sounds like it will be a brilliant weekend, certainly 8 of the best right there. If you get chance to ask questions one that I would like to know off any of the pro's is how do they maintain their concentration throughout their match and how do they transfer their practice game onto the stage. Reason I ask is that I find it incredibly difficult to maintain concentration for a full match, 3 or 4 legs maybe, and also I tend to throw, smoother, better grouped darts in practice than in a match and would love to be able to take that into a game every week. |

| last night was quite understated, met all the players chatted to a few, couldn't ask taylor the question about his throw as he was actually with friends and I didn't wish to impose. Barney looked really shy and introverted, but did look fitter than last time he was here. Asset was good crack, real nice guy. nearly never made the flight as he forgot a wallet or something. John Henderson, taking the place of Anderson was brilliant and as he knew a few of my team mates, it was great to chat with him about the county and me being captain, so it was super. Bristow beat me, but all it was was 6 darts highest score wins......no warm up so needless to say he was playing constantly and most folk were cold. but a bit of fun with Russ Bray basically taking the piss out of us. Serious stuff starts today with a prize pot of £30 000 with £12k to the winner (I think) taylor won it past 2 years.
The Shetland masters was announced last night to continue for at least the next 5 years as players and fans love it with players saying one of the best set ups outside the tv comps. I thnk that they all get respect and can walk the streets without hassle helps.
last point Wade (nice guy) didn't look the most settled man to me last night. I hope he is OK. I got photos with them all, I'll post later...but away to watch darts and hopefully win the raffle for 3 darts at bull to win £500 (I thought it was £1k initially!!)
I'll tweet results and events from 2.30pm Shetland time lol!)
