| It is a very strange feeling but I have no desire to look at what people are swapping. Possibly the end of two or three years of being obsessed but haven't really thrown them too much in league play. Groupings are amazing though - normally at least one dart in the 60 and drilling my first consistently. |

| Nice mate.. I still have the mind that "I could throw any dart as well as the other" I don't see the dart as an object wich will make my dart fly straighter/better. I see them as an (sort of) animal that has to be trained to obey me.. No dart looks or feels the same.. So you have to learn the dart.. not the otherway around.. That's just my thinking:) |

That's just my thinking:) I sort of agree with ya Donk! Dont think there is many people who have bought as many darts as I have, but to a certain degree some darts suit me better than others, but your right in saying that you can get used to any set given time, but its best to have a set you feel comfortable with. I give up on the Andy Hamiltons because I had to alter my grip to get the balance point right and I just did not feel comfortable that way, and although I was reasonable successful on the 20's with them, I seemed to miss by a long way elsewhere on the board. Those darts are centrally weighted and I think I suit a front weighted or a straight barrel dart better. |

| I thought my experimentation was over when I got a set of Lowe's hero 22 gram maybe 2 1/2 years ago. Loved how I gripped it and how it felt but the results weren't there. I tried Fordhams, Walsh's, and Phase 5's. I have no idea how many sets I've owned in that time but my goal was to get THE set. Now its time to use these and get some consistency back - same shafts and flights for a while. Lets see what happens.

| Darts is a personal thing and part of the fun is trying different darts and set ups (to me anyway) but for practice and serious play I stick to a straight barrel with a good grip. I forget who said it ( a pro) experiment here and there but try and stick to your go to set unless during your experiments u find some thing more suited to you. I will throw a different dart for 10 min but when the serious practice comes around I go to me go to set and get it on. |

| Hello, my name is Robert and I am a Dartaholic!!! I just thought I would update this thread. I realized a short time ago that I have four sets in the mail, on the way to me. I guess the McCoys weren't THE dart for me after all. |

| Agree that it's the darter not the dart. But sometimes when I look at some darts, there are three things that I consider: 1. "That's a nice looking dart for my collection." 2. "Could I be better if I use that dart?" 3. "My wife is going to kill me if she finds out I have a new set." More often number 3 prevails. |

I wonder if we added up all the sets each of us own what it would equal?
Also wondering where my local chapter of Dartaholics Anonymous is? |
