KEEP THAT POINT UP! Always make sure your dart is either level or pointed up...before and after the throw...MAKE SURE! a dart pointed down is less accurate and more likely to wobble.

Practice your corks!: even if its all you shoot for 1 week strait, just throw @ the cork...its the most powerful # on the board and has saved me more times than I can count.

I completely agree with this. I used to be horrible at bulls. Even losing cricket games because of it. When i first started practicing I was probably about 15% at bulls which is horrible. Now I am probably about 60% percent bull shooter, at least in practice.

Surely this is only essential for the release of the dart as when you take aim its really a personal choice as to how you hold the dart. I understand and agree with the advice that the point should be level or up but only upon the release.

Well Taylor used to throw with his points pointing down, or at least thats how he started the throw.

I have found that keeping the point up drastically changes the accuracy of my throw and is the first thing I check myself on now when my darts start going way off track.
