DKDarts Darts Practice Pads Empty
PostSubject: DKDarts Darts Practice Pads   DKDarts Darts Practice Pads EmptyTue Apr 17, 2012 12:59 am

Hi guys,

Have seen this seller on Ebay selling these practice pads:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Dart-Practice-Pads-/120874881279?pt=UK_Sporting_Goods_Darts&hash=item1c24b450ff#ht_500wt_1200

He also has a website:

http://dkdarts.co.uk/

It says the pads are used by Jim Walker, I dont know him myself.

Here is a youtube vid of him demonstarting the pads:

I bought some myself and think its a great idea, but I guess you can easily copy them your self, but I will be using mine every few weeks to check on my progress. I think its a great visual record of how accurate your darts are going.

Had a go at making these, very easy - get a crayon and with your paper pressed against the board give it a rub - you get a perfect guide.

Then make your 'master copy' by tracing over the crayon lines, photocopy as many copies as you like from your 'master'.

I have only had a couple of goes and I must admit, it makes you more aware of where your darts are going.

Too early to say if it improves you as a player but I will certainly have a few more goes with it on different targets, add to the variety of practice routines.

Cheers,
Greg
