I just went to order a new board from Pure Darts as it was cheaper than anywhere else, but the shipping makes it more!!
I checked the list to find out how much shipping would be for a board in the UK and it said £5.90 - not a problem as this still made it about 10p cheaper so added it to the basket anyway. Went to the checkout to pay and the total cost of the order is actually £1.08 higher so I cancelled the order.
Word of warning to any UK customers - the postage prices on the tables are not what you pay - they are before any addition is made for VAT.
I've not noticed this before on previous orders as they have all qualified for the £1 postage, so at a rough guess the true postage price for those past orders was nearer £1.15-1.20.
Sorry but although I still think they are one of the best shops on the web I'm going to have to give them a -1 for postage costs.
