Congratulations to Big Gun on winning last week challenge with a great score of 19.

Once again thanks to those who entered, as winner Big Gun has chosen a really good challenge this week.

Hopefully a few more will have a go at this one:

"For this weeks challenge I I want to see people throwing at the treble 20 and include a finish.
So the first 2 darts at treble 20 then double 10, the second throw 2 at treble 20 then double 16,
the third throw 2 at T20 the last at D18 then the same again at 20's then D20.
12 trips to the oche so you get 3 attempts at each one,
treble 20 = 3 points, single 20 1 point and the double = 3 points so a max of 9 points per throw.
Total possible in 12 throws 108 points".

So there you go, practice for the main doubles, T20's and finishing all in one.
To sum it up, 12 turns all starting with the first 2 darts at T20.
Then go in order finishing the 1st visit with D10, 2nd with D16, 3rd with D18 and 4th with a D20.
Repeat this 4 times to give a total of 12 visits (4 check outs x 3 turns on each).
T20 = 3pts, S20 = 1pts and the doubles = 3pts.
Maximum score of 9pts per visit (T20,T20,D).

T20 = 3pts
S20 = 1pts
D = 3pts

Just a quick Q. If I hit the D20 going for a T20 dose it count as a miss or 1 point or 2 points.
I just might slip and get Tops.

Good question Kev Me Thinking

In think in the nature of the challenge only the final dart, intended for the double will count as 3pts.

So I think a slip into tops, still in the 20 bed on the 1st or 2nd dart should count as 1 point as its still effectively in the 20 bed.

Had a couple of go's, best so far 47.

Readjusted score as I had an extra round of turns to get 65 Embarassed

I'm really struggling with this one.

45 is my best score so far

Just to be on the list, a low 24. but I had a go.

I found that too first go so I wrote them in order on the chalk board - helped me a lot.

Hahaha, damn, Kev you are spot on mate, I went an extra turn head slap

Ill readjust my score for the first 3 rounds and delete the piscture to avoid more confusion.

45 and 47 is pretty good I did a 40 on my first attempt. Good shooting everyone

Shot 57pts....had a max score on the 18's.... happy dude

I was finding the weekly challenges very hard, you see they taxed me one dart on inport duties, so now I have 3 darts I will do better.

After being off the last two weeks I tried this weekly and loved it Smile

It will be one of my usual practice-routines Smile

The best one was 58, got a bit carried away when I saw I was on the road for a good score Smile

I'm back into the swing of things now.. Finding time to do the challenges again. Tried this one today after work a couple of times first time I only had a 21 Sad

finally got a 49 after I warmed up. I will try again later I know I can do better than this.. so a 49 for me so far.. Nice challenge Big I like this one!!

This is a good practice routine for all abilities. When you have done the 2 at 20's you can do the same on 19's, 18 ,17 and 16's and so on but change your doubles too as it keeps it fresh. Some great scores coming in so well done to you guys.

Went back to the board last night after dinner and bettered my score by a little. Ended up with a 53! Big this is a very good one!!! It is now going to be the focus point of my warm ups before all matches a little bit of scoring while also practicing finishes the only thing different I will do while warming up is to play it out til the double is hit. +1 to you Big!!!!

Cheers buddy glad you like it I've just hit a 63 with a shanghai on my last throw so i'm back up there with the leaders again. I use this all the time as it has so many variations just by changing the treble or the doubles. A 53 is good shooting buddy but I want to see you in the 60's now.

not entered the weekly challenge in some time now so i thought i'd start again. still recovering from having the flu so i'm struggling but so far i've managed a 24 . i'll have a few more throws at it ,but i can only manage to play for about 5 minutes at a time then gotta sit down for a while hence why i'm on here so much just now lol. driving me crazy , been watching darts and i can see my darts sitting there waiting to be thrown and really wanting to play but just don't have the energy
