I thought it would be fun to hear about this from new members and those who have been around for a while.

So I'll go first - as my info says, I am from New Waterford, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Canada, a small town of over 8000 people which used to have several coal mines.

As for what do I throw - currently have Target Adrian Lewis 23 gram, Harrows Atlantis 24 gram, Nodor Penetrators 23 gram but just got a set of Unicorn Hero John Lowe 22 gram. I had the Lowe's and sent them to USMC80 but just traded a set to get them back - hit a T80 with my first three darts of the day today - I think they are THE dart for me!! For some reason, the short barrel works better for me.

I play in a mixed league at a local Lions Club where I am embarrassed by little old ladies on a regular basis lol on floor
My wife and I have been in mixed leagues around our town for at least 12 years, maybe longer. We have a lot of fun!!

I have been shooting for about 20 years. And yes, I am a dartaholic lol! lol!

Im from a small village called Lostock Hall (less than 4,000 residents) on the outskirts of Preston.

I play with 23g Lewis Silica darts and own 2 sets plus 2 sets (gold and silver) of 23g Unicorn Lewis Maestro, also have 25g Bristow Red Rings, a gold and silver set of Klaasens (21g and 23g), 26g Bottelsen Mega Thrust, 24g Mega Thrust (on the way), 22g Bottelsen Original, 25g Bottelsen Great White and 2 sets of Steve Beatons old darts (match used B&W and Red Dragon, both signed and my prized possessions darts wise).

I currently play in the Traditional Croston darts league (round the board, traditionally played on the Manchester log end board) for the Sumpter Horse, we are currently top of League 1 after beating the champions last week (although I was working so can take absolutely no credit Very Happy ).

And I also am a Dart Nut! hammer time

I live in Salisbury Heights, which is a northern suburb of Adelaide. Approx 20kms from the cbd.

I have played off and on for over 20 years now.

I am currently throwing a Puma Lite Cat dart, 18g barrel.

I play league 3 nights a week and in a social mixed league every 2nd week. The social league is a night out with my missus.

I have had a lot of success over the years in the teams that I have played for. I have enjoyed darts for most of my 20+ years of playing.

I am well and truly a dartaholic.

Palm Coast Florida here. Started by playing soft tips occasionally 20years ago- Been playing steel now for about three. Have had good success in both soft and steel and going to a soft-tip league next session. I'll be 67 on the 9th of January and me eyes are going (gonna have to do that Lasix thing I guess) I forgot me glasses once and just threw between the doubles I was seeing lol. Anyway I consider me self a decent pub player who enjoys the game and admire the young guns on this forum who are real shooters. Talking to members from around the world is just amazing and a real treat for me. My greatest dart achievement, being one of the 4 who got this forum started less than a year ago. For awhile more Admins then members lol.

I throw between a 23gm-26gm straight barrel dart with plenty of grip- Right now 24gm Rasta's.
Some of my favorite darts are 26gm Sabergrip MCcoys- 26gm Winmau Sabotages- 24gm Rasta's-25gm Barney Phase 2a's- 24-26gm Target Sport Extremes- Phase 6's Unicorns ( my only non straight barrel) 25gm old Unicorn Grippers ! and the old 24 gm Razor edges from RD (use to be Jamie Cavens)

I do want to try the c-3's 25gm Carrera's.

Originally from East London now living in Essex. Unfortunately I'm not a true cockney although both my parents were. And most people who say they are cockneys are lying, and not everyone from London is a cockney either lol.

I have thrown numerous darts in my lifetime, and I have used the following in league play: O'Shea's, Kong's, some customs, Monster Ogres, and my original unknown darts from the late 70's. My current darts are the 23g Target Carrera's that I won from here.

I play in the London Insurance Offices Darts Association league in the City of London, and I am also a member of the City of London Darts Association (well it expires at the end of this year but I will be renewing early in the New Year lol).

I took up the game properly around 1977 and won a few trophies in the City and local in the late 70's. Moved to Norwich in Norfolk in 1980 and continued playing for another 5 years or so winning a few trophies up there as well. Came back to London at the end of 1985 and gave up for some reason I still can't remember. Started playing again around October 2010 and have spent a fortune on darts and equipment ever since lol.

Where do you play? I play at home and at the Bar where we play league, and every thursday i go to another bar to train with better people

How long have you been playing? Well just for fun since i was kid but this summer of 2012 was a tournament that was preaty good actually won 3 matches and loosed 1 and then long time no playing darts and end september i was training hard for the league that i could to play with dutch team we played already few times and we won everything only one lose ,so that is going very well

What do you throw? In soft tip I throw Revolution Golden M3 18 grm, and in steel tip I throw 20 grm Tony Ayres with 22 grm Adam Smith-Neale as backup

Where do you play? I play at home, in a soft tip league, in 3 steel tip leagues.

How long have you been playing? Soft tip since 2006, I did not know about darts before I was 18 yr. But my friend made me try it, and since that dreadful day I'm hooked Smile Steel tip I have played for soon to be 3 years Smile And even that I was reluctant to try at first Smile But got hooked Smile

Born and bread in Perth Western Australia and live in the Parkwood area 10min form CBD.
My mother is an Ozzy and my father is Italian(Western Oriental Gentelman) so I would class myself as a WOZZY if I had any class.

I am 42 this year and use to play backyard with my mates when I was 18-20 years old and hadent thrown a dart till about 18 months ago when someone asked me to fill in for Leeming bowling club D grade one night which is in the Fremantle Distict Darts Association and am still play for leeming (higher grade next year).

I Prefer long straight barrel darts or anything that is slightly rear loaded and long with a level 2-3 grip. I started at 20g and slowly worked out that 25-26g is the perfect weight for me.

current setup is 25g unicorn T90s moded to fit storm points, extra short nylon tweenys with new style target standard flights.


Like the rest of you here I am a dart nut.

Where ya from? Middlesbrough, an industrial town in North East England.

What do you throw? Question should be what dont I throw, nah I dont have one specific set, enjoy trying different sets so cant really say.

Where do you play? Just at home for fun.

How long have you been playing? Only been playing on a regular basis since end of 2007, but missed about 18 months when I broke my shoulder and other injuries.
