Congratulations to last weeks winner Neil who managed round the board in doubles with a bullseye finish in a superb 39 darts good job

As last weeks winner Neil has chosen the new challenge, this is a proper challenge and while similar to the last challenge could have a few of us pulling our hair out!

"Round the board on doubles - you are only allowed to throw one dart at a double.

Example - first 3 darts you throw dart 1 at D1, dart2 at D2 and dart3 at D3..

Lets say you hit D3 - next 3 darts would be - dart1 at D1, dart2 at D2 and dart 3 at D4

Lets say this time you hit double 1

Next three darts would be dart1 at D2, dart 2 at D4 and dart3 at D5

So you only ever get one shot at a double

At the end when you only have one double left, you only throw one dart at it - then fetch it back until you hit it

The score is the number of visits it takes to finish the game

Its a tough one!!!!"

With 3 darts in my hand I had 2 numbers left to hit - 18 and 20 - I am right that I only throw 2 of the 3 darts aren't I?

If I did it right it was quicker than I thought it would be - I got stuck on D3 for ages - I can normally hit it with either my second or third dart, but in one dart it's difficult lol

Correct. I was left with just double15 and I only threw one dart at it then went and fetched it back - 1 visit.

Thanks for the confirmation Neil - I just had another go and got worse lol - 38 throws this time

This competition is outta my league so not gonna attempt. Hell I'm just a Pub player , need a comp that I can do lol, like most treble 1's and 5's while shooting at the treble 20's.

I Like this challenge alot Neil!!! My 1st go at it yesterday and could barely miss a double. Done it in 17 trips to the board!! Well pleased with that Very Happy

It seems that my game is finally coming back around again as I was in a pretty bad spell there for about 2 weeks..and just in time too my 1st comp of the season is coming up this weekend up in Cananda.

Neil, this is a great challenge you have picked. How many times do you only get 1 dart at the double. I think this may become a regular routine for me.
